French For Toddlers, Kids & Teens
Alliance Française Accra applies its renowned expertise to children’s classes for ages 3 and above.
The young learners are given the opportunity to learn French through an interactive programme composed of various activities (games, songs, role-playing, hands-on activities, etc.) as a means of encouraging them to communicate in French.
Alliance Française d’Accra offers five different programs according to the learner’s age
- Ages: 3- 5
Our French program for toddlers introduces little ones to the language through fun activities like songs, games, and storytelling. Beginners will learn basic vocabulary and pronunciation, while intermediate learners build on this foundation, forming simple sentences and engaging in creative projects
- Beginner Classes: 9am - 10:30am
- Intermediate Classes: 10am - 11:30am
- Ages: 6- 9
In our French classes for kids, beginners start with essential vocabulary, simple phrases, and basic grammar through engaging lessons and playful activities. Intermediate students will expand their skills by practicing conversational French and more complex sentences, with interactive games and cultural activities
- Beginner Classes: 9am - 11:00am
- Intermediate Classes: 11am - 1:00pm
- Ages: 10 - 12
Pre-teens in our beginner program will be introduced to fundamental vocabulary, phrases, and grammar concepts through interactive lessons and group activities. Intermediate learners will enhance their communication skills and develop reading and writing abilities, participating in discussions, projects, and cultural exploration

- Intermediate Classes: 11am - 1:00am
- Ages: 13 - 16
Our teen French program provides a comprehensive introduction for beginners, covering essential vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Intermediate students will further develop their language skills, focusing on advanced grammar, conversational practice, and cultural studies to achieve higher-level proficiency
